The Taste of Hartford has been an annual event in Hartford for years, allowing us to sample the great restaurants in Hartford.  The Taste of Hartford 2010 is no exception.  While for years the Taste of Hartford was held on Constitution Plaza and people walked the Plaza sampling the great treats, it changed a few years ago to an event that gives restaurants a greater opportunity to shine in their own kitchens. Taste of Hartford 2010

The 2010 Taste of Hartford features three-course dinners for $20.10 at a variety of city restaurants, begins Monday July 26th and continues through Sunday August 8th.  This gives the restaurants an opportunity to bring dinners out to see their restaurants, not just grab a bite from a tent on the Plaza.  An opportunity to really get to see what the restaurant is like.  The different meal options have values up to $52, so $20.10 is a great bargain for a three-course dinner.

The restaurants who are participating in Taste of Hartford 2010 include: Agave Grill, Agave Grill, Bin 288 Panini & Wine Bar, Black Bear Saloon, Black-Eyed Sally's, Carbone’s, DISH Bar & Grill, The Half Door, Max Downtown, Morton's, Peppercorn's Grill, Salute, Trumbull Kitchen, and more! More restaurants are committing to be a part of Taste of Hartford 2010 according to the article in the Hartford Courant.  To take advantage of the special menu offerings visit the participating restaurants, reservations are suggested.  No special Taste of Hartford 2010 tickets are required.

The Taste of Hartford 2010 will be a great success as it has been in previous years.  Check out the great menu's all of the restaurants have prepared for this years event.  Check out many of the menu's here. Here is a flyer about Taste of Hartford 2010.

$20.10 for a 3 course meal, indeed.  I wonder if we could ask for 3 deserts :)

Or a salad and 2 big deserts. :-) I often like to do that. After a full meal deserts look good, but the stomach is full. What a waste! :-)
