In Mt. Clemens: On Friday August 17th Bud Light Riversight & Sound Concert Series Presents Rare Earth! These Friday night concert series are free to the public and are located on the riverfront. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m but if you notice while driving through downtown Mt. Clemens many people set up their blankets on the "hill" early to reserve their spot. I've been to several over the years and they are truly a wonderful family night in Macomb County.
Also in Mt. Clemens throughout the weekend the Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority presents the "NEW" Art & Craft shows for 2007. Many vendors and artisans set up their displays in the Macomb Place area. Live music is also highlighted at noon in the square. I'm excited about viewing the crafts and artists works.
