Our favorite "pick" this week is a rare opportunity to get into Windward in Alpharetta for $204,900! This home sold as a short sale in 2007 for $275,000 and is currently assessed at $312,000- the home has 2734 sq ft with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and appears to have been recently updated with Granite countertops and refinished hardwood floors.
Remember, as always, that these "deals" aren't always what they seem- sometimes banks and corporations list their homes at or near market value regardless of their condition, so you always want to make sure you know what other homes have sold for in the neighborhood/area and how the neighborhood/area is trending in value.
