The key to effective advertising is making sure that you have what we like to call good marketing habits. Having a really good marketing tactic or idea and not implementing it is one of the largest challenges facing real estate agents today. So, if you know you have a great marking plan but you aren't getting it implemented, ask your self the following questions:

1.      Are your marketing activities coordinated?

2.      Has procrastination been eliminated?

3.     Do you delegate and outsource portions of your marketing that are time consuming?

If you answered "NO" to any of these questions then you are most likely not fully implementing your marketing plan. By developing a plan for the implementation of your marketing and following the plan, your business will grow. For additional information and guidance on this topic we have posted an informative article on our website entitled "Implementation: The Key to Effective Marketing".

I will prepare an accountability system for my marketing plan. My accountability system will include dates, actions, details, costs, persons responsible, target completion dates, dates completed and resources required. I will use my marketing accountability system to develop good marketing habits. By improving my marketing habits, I will create a competitive advantage in my market.
