That's so cool! I love that it's a functional AND aesthetically pleasing solution to the issue of waterfront with high banks easily accessible. (Well, kinda! That's a whole lot of stairs!) ;)

Whoa Paul, I'd hate to have to cart beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc down that flight of stairs,

That's a work of art in itself. I think I'd deck out the landings as outdoor rooms.

Hahaha - where there is a will there's a way!  But, yeah, I'm thinking next they need to add a dumb waiter to haul things up and down!

Oh wow! I've never seen anything like that! Not exactly wheelchair accessible, but those are nice landings where one can catch their breath.

Paul,

They made me climb something like that when I got drafted. I don't recall it having stairs though.

Paul, it makes me tired looking at it.  If there is a will there is a way.

Kathy, I'd hate to haul all that paraphenalia back up!!!!!

I don't know how you found this property and the structure, but what a shot.  And that person is to be commended for building something attractive as well as functional!

When I first saw this picture I thought it was a fantastic tree house! Looks like fun either way, but I love what is at the base a lot better now that I know what it is!

They might as well close in the walls and use it for living space!  It would be a great place for guests... haha.
