Rockland County, Suffern NY - Free Summer Concert Series
Despite the economic downturn, many Rockland County towns, the village of Suffern among them, are continueing their tradition of free summer concerts.
The Village of Suffern's summer concert series is well underway. If you've missed the first three concerts, you're just in time to make it for the fourth in the series, slated to take place tomorrow evening, Thursday.
NO EXIT, a Rock and Blues Band will be performing. The concert will take place at the Virginia Menschner Gazebo, Thursday, July 22, at 7:00 p.m. Your welcome to come, bring the family and don't forget to bring a chair or blanket, and maybe a picnic dinner too. All shows promise to be kid-friendly.
In case of rain, shows will be held at the George J. Parness Suffern Community Center (just next door) at 41 Washington Avenue. For more information, call 845-357-7943.
And just so that you don't miss the last two concerts, mark your calendar with the dates:
* August 5: Magic Moments performs oldies
* August 9: Kurt Gallagher presents a special children's concert
Time and place are the same: the Virginia Menschner Gazebo in Avon Park at 7pm. And remember, all concerts are FREE! Enjoy!
