The world of real estate has its own language. In an attempt to get the most for our sellers, Realtors have developed a whole list of catch phrases to make their property stand out. I hope you enjoy this glimpse of the lighter side of real estate!

1) Home needs TLC-- This is agent lingo for Torn-down, Leveled, or Combusted!

2) Seller says sell--Yikes, that was a close one! Good thing the seller did not say burn down!

3) Home is one of a kind-- After completing this house the builder returned to the circus.

4) House is adorably-cute-- In my 35 years I have seen many adorable things, not to mention a few cute

ones. Never in all my years have I seen something that was "adorably-cute"

5) All reasonable offers will be considered-- The unreasonable ones will be refered for counseling...

6) This is the deal of the century-- buy this home and you will be in debt for the next 100 years.

7) Home won't last long-- Why won't it last? Is it made out of ice??

8) Price is negotiable-- Any other shockers? Is the sky also blue?

9) A Handyman's special-- Your contractor is going to make a fortune on this deal!

10) Perfect home for families wanting to downsize-- buy this pig of a house and your wife will leave you!
