Louisiana certainly does have it's share of problems with the high taxes (getting higher), hurricanes and now the oil issues.

Vickie, your so right to mention the Hurricanes. The only vacation I look forward to is going to the beach. Now I wonder how long if ever will I return. I am hopeful the smell will leave shortly.

It's such a bummer that your area has been hit so hard. The news certainly doesn't paint a positive picture on moving there right now. But, aside from hurricanes, taxes and oil... I'd love the weather!

Frank,

Remember the salt commercials that became a stand alone phrase for one bad thing after another happening, "When it rains, it pours"  ?

It seems that it's been for Louisiana lately.

Hope there's a brighter future ahead for you and your state.

Frank,

My heart bleeds for what's happened again in your neck of the woods.  The government has also allowed fear to take over like a wildfire among fresh saplings...
