Port Angeles on the Beautiful Olympic Peninsula

Port Angeles is one of the best kept secrets, and I want it to stay that way, so please don't tell anyone about this article.  I'll reveal the secret reasons we love to live here.  Consider that:

1. The beautiful Strait of Juan de Fuca is on our front porch, stretching into International waters.  What a view.
2. There is so much water view property here in both Port Angeles and Sequim that it is almost too good to be true.
3. As a back drop we have the Olympic National Park with old growth timber and Hurricane Ridge for skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer, and natural beauty that will make you just stand in awe of creation.
4. That means we have some of the most gorgeous mountain view property on the West coast.
5. We have hiking, bicycling, kayaking, boating, fishing, and lots of airplane enthusiasts.
6. We are a short ferry ride to Victoria, Canada, a city that is full of rich history and sites.
7. We are a 2 hour and 20 min trip from downtown Seattle, so you can go to Pike's Street Market.
   
8. We have a very low crime rate, which makes this one of the safest cities in the country.
9. We have none of the freeway traffic nightmares of the Seattle area or much of California.
10. We have the kindest people in the U.S.  Okay, that may have been puffing, but it could be true.
