Texting and driving---BE GONE

Have you ever tried texting and driving, well you shouldn't. And if you have or do text and drive you need this:

Jott is a new free service providing people with the ability to remember ideas, take notes, or send messages on the go. All you need is a phone and something to say. The cool part is that the service translates what you say into text, enabling you to send your message as an email or text message.

To use the service dial 1-877-568-8486 and leave a message, depending on your settings the message will be sent via email or text to yourself or someone you’ve specified. I just programmed the number in my contact list so it's easy and quick to use.

Just think, when you're in the car and you forgot to send out an email to someone all you have to do is dial the number, say your message and you're done. One less thing you have to worry about doing later. I have been using the service for about a week now, and it has yet to translate my voice wrong, I'm very impressed. Everyone should check it out and sign up, if not just to have it for emergencies when you can't get at your computer. I highly recommend it.

This is a great idea! I am sure that this will save a few people from getting into an accident. I scared myself once while doing the text/drive thing and have never done it again. I do see people doing it every day!

Yep I'm sure there is no catch, you should just test out the service yourself and I'm sure you'll fall in love with it like I have.

You know, if you have a death wish, don't pass it on to others! Texting and driving is NUTS! I have even put EVERYBODY in my cell on voice recognition to make driving safer! Push a button, say a name and let the phone find the number!

Thats great, I know what you mean, I can "talk" using jott way faster than I can type with my two thumbs. Who needs manual texting ever again.

Yes, anything to stop people from texting while driving is a huge plus. I see this so often that I've wondered if someone would ever come out with a service like this.

Bill and Barbara - thats great, voice dialing is a great feature, and that's why jott is so useful because it's like voice dialing but then translated into email or text message

Guilty as charged. I've gotten good at it though if that counts. I don't even have to look at my phone to send a message... that's how often I text. Now THAT is scary! Probably came from my college days of sending messages under the desks. haha.
