The 20th Annual Great River Race will be held this Saturday, July 24 to support the North and South Rivers Watershed Association.

From the N&SRWA website: "The North and South Rivers Watershed Association, Inc. (NSRWA) is a non-profit grassroots environmental organization located on the South Shore of Massachusetts. The NSRWA was founded in 1970 and has grown to over 1,500 members today, comprised of individuals, families, businesses, and other environmentally-concerned organizations."

Non-motorized vesselsincluding canoes. kayaks and rowboats can participate in the race.  Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Union Street Bridge and the race starts at 11.
