Well, it's week three for me and my husband with our weight loss challenge! We have been faithfully going to the gym every day except for Saturdays. Sadly, we haven't been going out to eat as often because we are both afraid of the temptations when you go out to eat. There is so much good stuff on the menu and before you even sit down, they throw the bread and oil on the table. Then comes the drinks and I'd rather eat my calories then drink them.
I've also come to realize my weaknesses. As I was driving around to showings yesterday, I went by a FRIED FISH place that I worked at as a teenager. After work, I would always take home fried clam strips, YUMMY! My mind started playing tricks with me as I drove towards this place and I so wanted to stop and get "JUST A SMALL" and maybe "JUST EAT A LITTLE", but someone in my head, said "NO, DON"T DO IT, YOU JUST BOUGHT A SMALLER SIZE SUIT FOR RAINCAMP!"
I also am having my 20-year-old daughter do the grocery shopping. Temptations of picking up some Lindt chocolate near the checkout or a bag of Lays potato chips are not in my vocabulary for the time being until I can boost my willpower. And no, I cannot just eat one!
