You want quirky? We've got quirky and unique here in circa 1880 Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Ours is a town of hills and hollows. In fact Eureka Springs has often been called the stair step town. Nearly everything is built into the hillsides of either East or West mountains. There are miles of limestone walls holding it together, and lots of stairways as well. Among other benefits it makes for some great walking tours and photographers love it.
The large builing pictured here is the Basin Park Hotel. At seven stories tall it is very unusual because each floor accesses the mountain behind it allowing each floor to be 'ground' level. Ripley's Believe it or Not featured it years ago.
Come see us in one of America's most fun and unusual small towns. A warm welcome awaits you.
