The 2010-2011 calendar will follow a 1-2-1 year-round model with a one-week fall break between the 1st and 2nd quarters, a two-week winter break separating the 1st and 2nd semesters, and a one-week spring break between the 3rd and 4th quarters. The teacher work day between student semesters is January 3, 2011.
The 2010-2011 teacher work year runs from July 27, 2010 through May 27, 2011. The student instructional year starts on August 2, 2010 and ends on May 26, 2011.

According to the 2010-11 official school calendar, the first day of school for students (excluding multi-track and charter schools) is Monday, August 2, 2010. This date may vary by school due to professional/collaboration day scheduling. (For school year 2010-11, each school has one (1) professional/collaboration day.)
