4 Comments on To Formal or Not to Formal
I do - especially if the current owner has used it as a play room of home office!
I define "formal living room" and "formal dining room" if that was their original use. Of course, it is up to the buyer to define what THEY prefer the room to be. :) Playroom, study, billiard room, etc.
If it is a formal space then that is exactly the description I use. If it's original intention is formal space I usually put what it is currently being used as and then state that it could be used as a formal space.
Laura --- you propose an interesting question -- this is a question that I have discussed with some of our AgentOwners -- I think it depends on the way the current sellers are using the rooms -- I agree with Keisha --
