At the beginning of the month, I stopped my Google Adwords Campaign.
I also stopped using Google Analytics as I had already learned the main keywords that brought
people to my site and where the traffic was coming from.
Google started running public service ads on my site instead of my competitors ads which they had done.
In the last two weeks my Alexa ranking fell over 3,000,000 places which makes absolutely no sense as the newest month is weighted with all the previous months.
Tonight I had a few minutes and went to see my Google Analytics and it is no longer working as I don't have a live campaign.
We are always learning about what goes on behind the scenes of search engines. However, I still have my PageRank #2 and am seen in the top 5 positions in the organic search using Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
My site is active and I do get a good number of calls for quotes from my site.
You can search and you will find that the Alexa ranking really has flaws and that is why I stopped looking at the figure as well as my Google Analytics and missed what had happened
