Top Ten Favorite Realtor Facts in the Second Annual REBAC Membership Survey & LISTS Edition... Here are my favorite points made in the current REBAC Monthly Brochure. This Special Edition by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council, which is a subsidiary of NAR,  is a compilation of useful LISTS for Realtors along with a second annual survey of the REBAC Members. Here are my favorite bullet points in random order:

1. Mobile phones are now used for data more than calls. In 2008 a call logged in at 2.27 minutes and in 2009 the call averaged 1.81 minutes. This data was from the New York Times. They must have been talking to me.

2. Smart phones are replacing regular cell phones as witnessed in the corresponding downward trend of cell phones and digital cameras and the upward trend by Realtors with Smart phones.

3. 55% of ABR's are using social networking sites weekly as opposed to only 40% one year ago.

4. The Top five sites in order for the surveyed ABR's are Facebook, LinkedIN, Active Rain, Twitter and the ABR Network.

5. Text messaging grew from 55 to 68 percent this past year. They must know me, too.

6. Electronic delivery of documents is up...mail or hand delivery is down. EMail and secure pdf sites are the winners.

7. There is a decrease of office phone usage which demonstrates more mobility by the ABR's.

8. ABR's also maintain a lot of GRI, e-Pro, CRS, and SRES designations. Yep, that's me.

9. The ABR time break down daily is 44% working with clients, 26% administrative, and 30% business development related. Of the last category, Business Development Activities, 30% is Networking face to face but  a whopping 41% is comprised of email marketing, web site development, social media and blogging. They must have a hidden camera watching me. Where is it?

10. 68% say their office is both home and work locations. Yep.

11. One extra favorite point just for good measure...Best sources of new business is cited as referrals 98%, listings 84%, and web presence 66% as the top three.
