Apple Cake or Foreclosure

By
Real Estate Agent with Charles Rutenberg Realty

Angela Logan is a resourceful lady, she has singled handily taken her faith into her own hands. She decided to turn on her oven and roll up her sleeves. She bakes around the clock and sells apple cakes out of her home and charges $40. These are obviously over priced, but people don't seem to mind because they know it's for a good cause. The only people that are having a problem with her newly found business is her neighbors. Go figure, why would they want a neighbor to go into foreclosure? That would only drop their property value and bring in rift raft. I understand she does not have a license to operate a business, but who cares. She is not stealing or living on the streets like so many other people these days. The majority of the population lets their house go into foreclosure and gives up. They feel like they run out of options. This story may help someone else avoid foreclosure. Angela is an inspiration to all that are having a financial struggle. Why should we roll over when times are tough? Why would neighbors have a problem with her selling cakes out of her house to avoid foreclose? Doesn't everyone benefit if she stays in her house?

Howard,

My hat is off to this very resourceful lady for sure!  Personally, if I were her neighbor I would be buying one!

Brilliant and kudos to her. I think we are going to see much much more creative survival economics in the near future. There are too many hands in the pocket of the average citizen and most people will justify bending the rules to survive if they are not hurting anyone. She'll still need to pay taxes though.

Good for Angela Logan. Her lender should purchase a number of her cakes. She is setting a good example.

 Blooming in Maryland.
