Mackinac Bridge at the Stratis of Mackinac

Greetings from the U.P.yes, where "Yoopers" live, work and play, also a newbie.  If you're from Michigan or the surrounding Great Lakes States, you probably know right where we're at.  If your from anywhere else, you may have never heard of us or possibly you have and actually visited or moved here.

I love to travel and other than being in the real estate industry, I also work with he Chamber of Commerce here in St. Ignace.  I'm always amazed at how many people have never heard of, or crossed the Mackinac Bridge. That's incredible to us because it's so massive and part of Michigan's travel structure.  It links the two peninsulas.  We just celebrated it's 50th birthday and it was a pretty big deal.

Anyway, I love this place and I love what I do and am happy to talk about it and get people to visit here or live here too! Living on Lake Michigan and having on office on Lake Huron (2 miles away) is pretty unique.  The Straits of Mackinac is one of the most gorgeous places in the world and I invite you all up to take a look for yourself.  If you can't make it soon, maybe I can help you put this trip in your future by luring you with Northern Michigan stories and exciting adventures.

 U.P. Cheryl
