Has to be one of the most beautiful creatures on Earth.
I love all the different colors of peacock feathers, they are just so pretty!
Russell...saw a report over the weekend of the Peacocks out in CA; did not know that they wandered the area so freely; though I do not live with them in my personal space, I do hope that they will be allowed to stay in the area. They are beautiful as your photos so clearly show--their 'cry' however, sounds too much like a child crying at times.
Your cat is so great- she jumped through the arm of that chair! She is something else. Thanks for sharing her.
Have a great week.

p.s. had to go back & see all of them again--so good, so fun. THANKS
Our neighbors have a peacock and he sure is noisy or it may be a she, not for sure. He got out of his cage awhile back and came over for a visit, didn't stay long after he or she met up with Brutus. Don't know much about peacocks and how you tell he from she.
Such brillent colors on the peacocks. I saw that TV blip on peacocks as well and didn't realize they could roam free. Of course their days of total freedom may be getting adjusted in the near future.
Clever manuvering on "kitty's" part for sneaking up on the couch.

Russel,
A community in Redding has a male peacock or two. They seem to enjoy his presence.

Russel - The peacock's colours closely, but not exactly, resemble the colours in your logo.
Hi Russell,
I found your Russel's photos and I bookmarked it for future use! Thank you so much for sharing! I am not sure how to fix my header picture at the top to make my blog more user friendly, I will probably end up e-mailing you for suggestions. Tiffany
Hey, Phly - I think peacocks are my third favorite bird, behind hummingbirds and flamingos.
Hey, Mykel - San Diego Zoo. Most of my wildlife pictures are taken at the Zoo, the Wild Animal Park, or SeaWorld.
Hey, Barb and Sal - I have a friend here who has about 16 acres of land with about 30 peacocks living on them. They are pretty but he says they can get really loud and messy during strutting season.
Hey, Carl and Ceil - Most pictures you see of peacocks are of the males because they are the ones with the long, beautiful feathers. Here are several mommies:
Hey, Lana - I have too many interests, so I have to come up with ideas to keep me happy. LOL
Hey, Sue - Zoey the Cool Cat always keeps me and my handy dandy Canon 550D occupied.
Hey, Steve - I think peacocks are one of those "they are beautiful as long as they stay off my property" types of birds.
Hey, Tony and Darcy - Thanks as always for stopping by and commenting.
Hey, Marc - They do, don't they. I wonder if the peacocks were giving me subliminal suggestions when I was creating the logo.
Hey, Tiffany - Read Lenn Harley's post first and see if that corrects it: http://activerain.com/blogsview/1769253/are-your-activerain-blog-posts-and-re-blogs-out-of-kilter-the-fix-
Hey, Julie - Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I'll be by your blog soon.
