Jim, I do think we are lucky to be in the San Diego area! Up, up and away!!
Following the austerity and hardship that has preceeded, your positive prognostication is welcome news Jim.
Let's hope it catches on everywhere.
more good news?
YES!!!
Jim - I've always known that San Diego's real estate market, economy, new house permits and new car sales wouldn't be down for long! It was just a matter of time. Who can resist living in paradise?
Jim,
Those are some great positive signs! Way to spread the signs of good things to come! :)
Deborah - We are. No place better to live.
John - I'd like to see it spread rapidly, but even if it did, I'm sure the negativistic among us will figure out a way to call it doom and gloom.
Chris - Yes, yes, yes, and yes!
Nevin - Good point. We might be down, but we're never out. Now all we have to do is help the rest of the nation stand up and yell, "We're back!" I think it's interesting that most of the naysayers and the doom & gloomers always quote the experts. Are we sure we should be listening to the experts to begin with? Aren't they the same ones who got us into this mess. Heck, even when Lehman Brothers and others went bankrupt, their experts simply got higher paying jobs with other corporations or with the government. Huh?
Gerry - With all the continuing doom and gloom, even here at ActiveRain, maybe I'm on a mission to counteract it.
