Shouldn't buying a home be fun?

Services for Real Estate Pros with Redfin

After a short hiatus we're back to recognizing Redfin's top referral partner each week for absolutely outstanding customer service.

This week's review goes to Nancy Kenneally from Frank Howard Allen Realtors in Sonoma County, CA.  Here's what the happy home-buyer had to say:

"Nancy provides a level of service that is simply second to none. She is not only an excellent communicator but is also constantly one step ahead and clearing the path to make the entire home buying process smooth, painless and dare I almost say enjoyable? Working with Nancy feels just like working with your best friend ... someone that only ever has your best interests in mind and will do everything in their power to make sure that things go in your favor ... and isn't that ultimately everything that you could ask for when buying your home?"

What really caught my eye was the one-liner "...dare I say almost enjoyable?"  Moving into a new home should be fun and exciting.  It usually celebrates a new step in life, love, career, or family.  Sure there are times when we're forced to move and we'd rather not.  When the goal is just to make it as quick and painless as possible.  But when we are celebrating one of those life-long milestones, let's live it up.  I hear a lot of agents say "I'll make the process stress-free."  I'd challenge them to raise their game just one more level to compete with Nancy and actually help their clients have a good time.

Check out the full review on Redfin.

Redfin's partners work for other brokerages like Century 21, Re/Max, and Prudential, and take referrals from Redfin's website in neighborhoods where our own agents don't have local expertise, for certain types of transactions like short sales, and when we're just plain too busy to help a client effectively.

Great Job Nancy!  In this market it is so hard to have a transaction that goes thru without a hick up.  Making it fun and enjoyable is definately something to write about!
