It's an interesting marketplace. With all of the news about MORTGAGE companie and the BUYERS' MARKET, it's really changing how people look at homes.

I'm finding that buyers are:

1. Wanting to LOOK AT MORE HOMES than ever before

2. Not wanting to make an offer, because there might BE A BETTER DEAL TOMORROW - so the search goes on and on

3. When they decide to buy, it's at a price that is one of the LOWEST offers I've ever seen

And since the home they like has been on the market for so long....why rush. It'll be avialable next week!

Are you finding this true in your market??

Amen, I could not agree more, the worst part is when they bow out of deal after you did all the work.  It is very frustrating.  Buyer's seem to have gotten very fickle and the bad press does not help.

absolutely!  My husband and I are looking at condos on the beach and the builders are giving them away - plus one even offered to furnish the whole place for us up to $18,000 worth.  But our problem is it is a buyers market and we are also trying to sell our house as well so that we can take advantage of that great deal!

Same here, one thing that needs to be stressed is that the loan they can qualify for today may not be available next week. They need to make a decision on what they want and do it. Its a great time to buy in many areas of the country.... Just do it.
