6 Comments on The Cherokee Legend of The First Strawberries...from your Murphy, NC Realtors
Great post on the Cherokee legend...I love strawberries and almost always have them in the house. Well, I am part Cherokee. My grandmother was full cherokee. Enjoyed this post immensely!!
Lee & Carol, I LOVE your series on Cherokee legends! What a unique and interesting way to share your local history!
This is a great story! My husband and I just started a window box full of strawberry plants! We have already shared some of the teeny tiny strawberries. I shared this story with him and we will now love our strawberries even more!
Another great Indian legend, Carol. Beautiful stories they have.
Hi Carol, I love this story. I will have to copy it and put it in the kids scrapbooks, so they will know. I think I have already told you my husband is 1/2 Cherokee, but even he does not know the stories. Thank you for sharing this.
What a wonderful story, with great insight into human nature. Quite a sharp contrast to the story about first woman who tempted first man with an apple!
