I have been trying to think of something worth sharing when I received word from a client that they have a solid offer & they have accepted it. What a great feeling!

A little background, about 1 month ago I was contacted to help stage a home that was on the market for little over  a week. The homeowners had already completed a basic de-cluttering, but the home still needed that "extra" touch. I met with them and found out that they had already purchased their new home & were moving by the end of July. They really wanted to have their current home sold before they left. They also were very conscious of a tight budget for staging. I came up with a room-by-room plan that was simple to follow. Together, we made the changes to open up rooms, create cozy spaces and really showcase great features (like a beautiful enclosed porch and spacious master bedroom). After 2 open houses and numerous showings, the homeowners had several bids & have decided to accept a solid offer. YAY!

The best part was when my client called to tell me. She said they couldn't have done it without me. That really makes my day!

Thanks for letting me share. I hope everyone can celebrate a success today.

Sharon,

Congratulations on your success!  Home Staging really sets any house apart from the others on the market.  Did you already post pictures?  Would love to see your work!

Hi Linda,

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Unfortunately, I don't have pics from the "after". I forgot my camera the day we staged & I never made it back before the move. I won't make that mistake again, I assure you.

Have a great weekend!

Sharon,

Oh! I've done that before!  Fortunately I was able to go back before the move and get some quick afters.  The other thing that you could do is ask the Realtor to send you the photos he/she used.  I am always learning something from each staging.  Have a good weekend too!
