high energy person. I like to be driven and focused, and I am goal orientated. I pride myself on having good sales skills, knowledgeable in all my residential and commercial aspects, and I love to get people to a closing. When I entered my career It did not take me long to realize that I needed to set myself apart from others and the way they did business. I was not a know it all and I would not pretend to be one. I found it easy to be honest and tell someone I did not know the answer but I would be happy to find the answer for them.
Something intrinsic happened in time and I fould myself
being attentive to what clients were really saying. I had made a conscience effort out of listening. To this day I am all ears and I feel it is just important to listen as it is to talk. Sometimes, and often, even more so. I am a detailed person but my detail work is a result of honing in on what my clients are really saying. Their needs, their wants, their desires. The ability to listen, to really listen takes skill and the power to hold back and pause even when you think you must say something to contribute. You have great insight on what it takes to succeed Tom, thanks for a great post!
