Motivational Power Quote

We Are a Lot Like a Diamond

"Before a diamond shows its

brilliancy and prismatic colors

it has to stand a good deal

of cutting and smoothing."

As I see it. . . . . . . .

We are a lot like diamond . . . . in the rough

We have within us a special talent to succeed that's waiting to emerge into the light of the day.

Our life is like a diamond in the rough, when we first see the diamond it doesn't look like much.

It's not until we start to work on the diamond does the value begin to come to the surface. We have to apply an effort to create value in the diamond. To bring value to the diamond requires shaping it, smoothing and polishing it into a brilliant and valuable diamond.

Without effort the diamond has very little or no real value. To create a successful career takes effort for us to reach our full potential.

Own talent needs to be developed and polished into a high level of brilliance to show its true colors and value. We have to shape our skills to compete in a highly completive business environment and succeed.

When we take the steps to shape our career we release our true talent. Enhancing and polishing our talents creates a strategic advantage in our chosen profession.

Step out into your day and show the brilliance of your true self.

Lou, It's good that diamonds are resilient then because I have hit the wall and fallen and scraped my knees many, many times! But I am still looking ahead!

I think that we are all diamonds in the rough. Some are just rougher than others...

guess the difference is that once the diamond is cut and polished it sparkles forever, humans are never rally finished, it is an ongoing process.

It does take a lot of effort and honing.  I agree with Anne, that is an ongoing process for humans. Have a good day Lou!

Lou,  It takes a lot of hard work to polish that diamond but like Anne said, once it's done diamonds last forever.  Thanks for the motivation.
