Mexican Telecom Uber Magnet Carlos Slim just bought a Fifth Avenue townhouse for $44m.....although the HIGHEST priced sale was $53m.....this is a BIG deal considering Rush Limbaugh's condo sale is scheduled to close anytime now.

Rush has mega-manse on ocean in Palm Beach. He sold his NYC condo that has been on the market for some time.

Like MANY HIGH-INCOME celebrities, Rush LEFT NYC when taxes got too high. He only kept NYC condo for hurricane fall-back position. Whoopi went to NJ. Many rappers and music artists live in NJ and commute to NYC
