You could reduce your annual cooling costs by another 25% planting leafy trees to shade your house.
Is your house on a sloped site?
Try maintaining natural hillside vegetation, and using trees, native shrubs and ground cover as landscaping. Save money and energy by this doing before erosion sets it.
Did you know that each day more solar energy falls to earth than the total amount of energy the planet's 6 billion people could consume in 10 years?!!
How much of that free ride are you catching?
To me going Green is not an issue, it is a reality.
We are going green or we are going brown (read into that what you want).
As a Realtor in a changing market, I will not hide my head in the sand and wait for this 'global warming' thing to pass.
The new breed of Home Owners are smarter than ever before.
They expect the same from us.
I like that.
