Recently I have been on a mission, a mission to be a better blogger. I truly have a passion for it! I have come to realize that I have so much to learn and will confess that I have a few neglected blogs out there just floating in the blogosphere.
I have to tell you my husband won't have it. I am a computer scientist's nightmare! "Nope you are a trainer, you Miss Trainer, get with the program." You have to realize something about my husband he takes his technology very serious. He is a computer scientist! He is a what?
OK, he is the first person I ever heard refer to themselves as a computer scientist. You gotta love it! Living with him I realized he really is a computer scientist and maybe I should swallow my pride and take his advice.
Lately he has been pushing me away from the rain, showing me, making me read, letting me know what I have been missing. Boy have I been missing, missing the boat that is. I'm lucky, he directs me, he leads the way to places I have never been and beyond my wildest dreams.
OK, I am talking about true social networking, spectacular blogging skills. I have to admit my post are prettier but their content is king! Take a look at the styles and the subject matter!
My first choice, I used to read once in a while but now I refer to this blog often. Yes my husband introduced me to it months ago.
Everything you want to know about Web 2.0.... It's just recently everything seems to be clicking, the blogging thing! What I am reading is finally making sense.
I have used information from this author for Internet marketing for training session. I can't even pick a favorite article. So you decide. The O'Reilly Radar.
If you read my posts, you know I need a daily dose of inspiration. If you need to get inspired or could use words of wisdom. This is the place to be.
The funny thing about this blog, RirianProject, the young man Ririan is a college student from Romania. For a young man he truly is inspiring and full of wisdom.
Check out this article, "19 Battlefied Tips to Survive Stress at Work!" His articles range from time management to getting fit. Lots of wonderful reading and beautiful thoughts to get you through your day.
Recently I decided to write something that was really an incredible social networking success story. It was about my favorite program Jericho. The fans were the reason they came back for a second season.
The point of the post was to remind everyone how powerful the people are. Not only did I write one post about Jericho but there was a part two. I was amazed that I actually had consumer comments, it was that experience that made me realize I wanted to be better.
The funny thing about one of the consumers she is a blogger had a great blog in the works. I'm sorry but I assumed she was a he? Not sure why, maybe the subject matter of the show.
I visited her blog, I was amazed and really impressed, she really understood social marketing and embraced me!
One of the techniques I like is she has been interviewing fans.
The interviews range from Jericho to CBS, to media. Her name is Jane but I have referred to her as Jericho Monster! Her blog has transformed into a true work of art.
Read her latest post, it rocks....Interview with a BlogTalkRadio host.
Between my new friend Jane and my husband, they both inspired me to be a better blogger.
But my favorite read has already been mentioned....I gotta tell it's worth repeating. This blog's author has quite a sense of humor and quite entertaining. Again the topic, it's all about the blogging. ProBlogger..Darren Rouse...You ain't kidding, truly a ProBlogger!
"He is a professional intereactive blogger!" His post How is the 31 Days to Building a Better Blog Project Going for You? is a powerful guide to get your neglected blogs whipped into shape.
Good job Midori! You really went out there cruising around...I just did a little...still in my comfort (fun) zone.
