The McWane Center in Birmingham Alabama: An Adventure For Kids and Adults

Yesterday I took my grandson the the McWane Center in Birmingham and we had a ball. That darned Tristan's eyes were so lit up with all the stuff to do, he didn't know which way to turn first. For a while there, I just watched him literally go in circles trying to decide what to do first.

If you're local to Birmingham, the McWane Center is a great way to entertain the kids as well as be entertained by them.

For 2 1/2 hours straight, Tristan literally ran through the McWane Center in an attempt not to miss out on anything the center had to offer:

Pretty cool! A mix of things, not just a typical children's museum! Surprised at the aquarium shots!

We've got a good kid's museum both in Cincy and Columbus, but no fish!

Liz the McWane Center has a water area (a floor full of aquariums and other water features. My eyes wee lit up just as big as his.

The believe the McWane Center is closed on Sunday. Better check the website or call first. You'll love it if you get a chance to go.
