SPEECHLESS SUNDAY: Big South Fork Body Parts

By
Real Estate Agent with Tennessee Recreational Properties

The scenery in Big South Fork National Park is pretty spectacular and trail riders often see terrain features that take their breath away. I always carry a camera because I never know when I'll see something I want to show someone.

Well, the first of these body parts made me laugh. The second one made me laugh, too.

It's amazing what you'll see when you're not looking!

With regard to the third one...there is a tree in Spruce Creek with the most perfect pert, perky pair of women's breasts that you've ever seen, or ever will see. I didn't have my camera that day but the tree was on a trail I ride often so I thought I could easily just go back and get the third part of my tryptych.

I never found that tree again..and I've looked! We rode that trail one way and then the other. We rode it forwards and backwards and we looked high and low. We literally couldn't see the tree for the forest and we began to wonder just who was the boob!

So, the third picture is a poor substitute...but you get the idea!

Mother Nature's sense of humor. Thanks for click click of the images to share. You notice more when you carry a camera, have the safety off on the back of a horse and aware of the beautiful world around you, the change of seasons, lighting, scurry of little and not so little animals along the trail ride path.

How funny!  Thanks for the photos. How are the forests holding up this time of year where you are? Are you (also) having unnaturally high temperatures?

Leslie....I see why you carry your camera all of the time.  Mother nature creates interesting subjects!

You are not alone in this fanciful awareness.  A resident in The Highlands at Big South Fork had several trees "named" for their depiction of body parts, animals, and politicians!

Hi, Andy. I'm always in the lookout for....as Charlie Buell calls it "blog fodder"....and it's amazing how much more you notice when you're looking!

Hi, Judith. Glad you were amused! Yes, it has been HOT and I've been hunkered down indoors for the duration. I wouldn't last long in Houston!

Hi, Lee and Carol. My riding buddies have gotten enthusiastic about looking for things that would make good subjects for blog pictures and we've had a few laughs!

Hi, Carra. I don't even have to carry a camera any more....my Blackberry is always on my belt. Russel Ray would gag but it does a good enough job for me.

Hi, Sue. I'll have to start looking for "politicians" in Big South Fork...just hope I don't run into Nancy Pelosi. That would ruin a pleasant commune with nature!

Leslie - That's some forest you have; the one around me is only rated "G."

Leave it to you to find these anatomically correct (and well endowed) trees!  Too funny!
