The thing that makes me come alive is doing something that makes my wife remember me. At that moment it shows that she appreciates me, forever how long that lasts.  It may be something as small as doing the dishes, and when she notices, it makes me feel special and at the same time it makes her feel special.  That's why doing something for another person is a special thing. That is what makes me come alive along with the world around me.

I agree. When we are doing what we are passionate about we are fulfilling our purpose.  Usually money will follow.  If we follow money doing what we have no passion for it will never be enough.

 As much as I hate to admit to my manager, but I am a night person that feels "in the zone" and energized at night while just working during the day time. We need to figure when we have the most energy and what makes us active.
