I'm sorry, but the picture of the moss just made me laugh as that is so a pacific northwest thing. The Oregon state bird, the slug would have also got the same reaction from me though.

Lori,
Very nice collage for the middle of summer - and the last day of July. :)

Todd ~ I can understand...but I have to say that when I made my trip over to your side of the world, it was the first time I had seen that.
Steve ~ Thanks...I thought it would be fun to mix a few together....
Hello Lori, I like to call our side of the Cascede Mountains the We(s)t side, which makes for such an abundance of cascades in the Columbia River gorge, and the "patina" (moss) on the rocks. Did you hike to the top of Multnomah Falls? -- it can be steep but, always fun to anchor a great memory when driving by. John
Beautiful pics ---Very Washington! Thanks for sharing!
John ~ I haven't yet done the climb....but I will...maybe next time! We stayed in a nearby camp ground...and also really enjoyed Horse Tail falls which was nearby as well....just beautiful...
Paige ~ Very Washington for sure...for the west side as John said!
Hi Lori! Very cute picture!! Today it's about 100 degrees outside, which makes me want to jump in those falls and roll around in that moss. Mossy toes! :)
GORGEOUS collage! Keep em coming for those of us down south that want to stay COOL!
