It was a warm summer's night and everyone enjoyed the night out with family and friends watching the creativity and entertainment as it floated by on paddle-driven canoes. This year, as in the previous couple of years, the Canoe Carnival was held on Beach #3, while Beach #1 was still being repaired. Now that Beach #1 is near completion, future carnivals will return to that beach. However, since Beach #3 residents have had a taste of hosting it, it will be interesting to see if they will develop any new traditions that become part of the annual Medford Lakes event.
