New Trail From Prince Georges County to Washington DC

A new two mile trail will connect a 24 mile network of trails in Prince Georges County with a proposed 16 mile network in Washington DC.

The trail will allow pedestrians and bikers to travel through Prince Georges County and into Washington DC.

The completion date is expected to be by year's end 2010.

New path will connect Bladensburg Waterfront Park to Washington, D.C.

This is a smart move.  Many people want to walk, run, or bike, so this will allow it, and it will help to alleviate traffic congestion.
