Anthony Carollo was featured in the NYPost Article Crunch Time by Max Gross.  The article discusses the mortgage industry and the how difficult it has become to borrow money in today's market.

An excerpt from the article:
"August 16, 2007 -- MONDAY, July 30, was supposed to be a busy day for Anthony Carollo.

The Queens-based real-estate broker had three closings lined up. The first was starting at 9 a.m., so he was in his office by 7:30. It was not long after he settled in that the phone rang.

A broker with American Home Mortgage, which was financing two of the mortgages, was on the line, and he did not have good news: It was pulling the financing. (American Home Mortgage filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy a week later.) Within moments, Carollo was on the phone with attorneys and other mortgage brokers, scrambling to find a solution for his clients.

Carollo's day - his whole week, in fact - was about to get a whole lot busier."
