The Power of One ----Jellyfish, that is.

Managing Real Estate Broker with Pino Agency NJ - 9235504

jellyfishReporting from Nags Head, NC once again.  The weather has been nothing short of awesome.

The beach?  Relaxing and quiet.

The ocean?  Majestic.

The waves?  Strong and powerfull.

My favorite brown pelicans?  Inspiring.

The jellyfish?  Relentless.

There isn't much that can keep me from the water.  I absolutely LOVE to jump over the waves.  A burst of cold temperature won't hinder me from enjoying the ocean.

The jellyfish win.  Today I barely went in up to my ankles and even at that I had to jump a little-to-the- left-and-a-little-to-the-right, at times, to avoid the gosh-darn jellyfish. Apparently, it's a record summer for jelly fish stings. (

Hopefully, they will go away tomorrow.

Don't they know that I'm on vacation????

Just a thought for today.

Chris:  This may be a silly question, but just what ARE jellyfish good for ?  Should we just not get rid of them ?

Stingrays and jellyfish have been what we are seeing on the left coast.

Carolyn, Here you go: As far as I can tell, jellyfish eat plankton and small fish.'s raining today, so I'm hoping for less jellyfish tomorrow. I'm hoping the temperature of the ocean goes down so the jellies won't be so happy to show up. SUSAN! Yes it's a small world! I'm glad that I got to see a part of yours! It's beautiful here, you lucky girl!

Jellyfish. That is what I hate the most. Good thing you weren't stung! Though just in case, the old family remedy does work : Wood Vinegar or just plain vinegar does the trick. I know some who claim that urinating on it works (yea right!) !!!

I actually told my housemates that I had heard that trick, Will.  They said 'Aceent' works the best.  Thanks for the tip, but I think I'll stick with the Accent!  hahaha

Hopefully, I won't need it though.

Thanks, Sheldon!

Getting ready to venture out now.  Visited the Cape Hatteras lighthouse earlier today.  That was a great experience.

We've had a wave of jellyfish stingings out here, too. We even had the black jellyfish show up on our shores.
