A classic here from master sales trainer Tom Hopkins. When Tom first got started in real estate his manager told him to wear a suit to his first sales meeting. You know what Margaret, this stuff works for kids of all ages. ;)

I remember as a rookie I spent a few days reading about how to list houses and then went out and listed 16 my first month in the business. Couldn't have done it without a track to run on.

Anytime you can learn something you didn't know I see that as a good thing.

BTW, it's working, I sold 2 items already.

Congratulations! Great idea! I never bought Craig Procter's  Success website system but I sent in for his free report "How to become the Dominant Internet Agent in your Market Overnight"  I already had a website that basically was an ad in cyber space that said call me for all your real estate needs.

I read his report over and over and all his emails and then redesigned my website using his direct response techniques. I added neighborhood pages with forms for buyers to fill out to receive free listings, and free over the internet CMA reports for sellers. I started generating leads off the internet and now most of my business comes from the internet.
