Farmer's Market in Humble
If you are looking for a wonderful wayto puchase local, great food, try the Humble Farmer's Market. It is near Kingwood, Fall Creek, Atasocita, Humble, Porterand Aldine. It is also not far from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. It is open every Wednesday from 3-7 pm, which is perfect to swing past on your way home from work.
It is located on Main Street across from the Humble United Methodist Church, right before Main Street ends at 1st Street. Mapquest link here.
The market is run by the Lake Houston Chamber of Commerce. If you are interested in being a vendor for the market, they are welcoming some new vendors. Farmers interested in becoming a regular vendor at the Farmer's Market can contact Lois Bean at 281-454-6339.
This is Angela's Oven. Actually, This is Angela's husband selling bread for Angela... They sell wonderful breads. They a very fine texture and are well worth a trip.
Hammond Farms have Goat Cheese, and other wonderful goat products such as lotions.
J. S. Desserts makes and sells extremely good cakes and desserts.
Atkinson Farms sells beautiful produce. They sell out fast, so try to get to the market as soon as possible.
Her Banner really says it all, but the Indian Food is SO good, and it is so easy for taking to lunch or something. I HIGHLY recommend that you pick up something from them to try. They give free samples to help you out.
The Jelly Lady sells really great Jelly. She has many varieties to choose from.
The Pickle Lady sells the Chunkiest, sweet & Spicy Pickles. They are a bit like Wickles, only better. She is a wonderful person to get to know.
Law Ranch Cattle Company sells Grass-Fed, Organic-like Locally Raised Beef that is Dry Aged and State Inspected. The meat is Single Source, which means only one animal butchered and processed at a time, the OLD-FASHIONED way. They have excellent, grocery store competitive prices. They bring coolers full of all types of beef.
