It's been a long week, with a beautiful wedding, a visit to Active Rain, and a great flight home. I'm still a little jet lagged, and I'm not sure what day it is or what time it is. But I'm pretty sure it's time for my favorite weekly post. So here goes:
1. Holly Weatherwax: Buyers: What Your Realtor Needs From You This is one you can bookmark and copy and pass out to your clients. We worry about the real estate etiquette for ourselves. This is for them. And some of hem need it.
2. Jeff Dowler: The Stunning California Coastline - A Journey Along the Monterey County Coastline to Big Sur This is an amazing ride, and Jeff's photos are amazing. Jeff, happy anniversary!
3. Jerry Wright: 10 Things We Overpay For A lot of us are watching our pennies, both with our business expenses and our personal ones. Jerry has some great ideas for our personal ones.
4. Margaret Woda: How to Network - NOT! It's not just for Eddie. This is good advice for newbies, and a good reminder for the oldies. Thanks, Margaret!
5. Rita Fong: If you want to stay in this business longer, be nice to everyone. This is such good advice on so many levels. Playing nicely with others is a fundamental skill for any real estate professional.
6. Andrea Swiedler: Clean it, paint it, fix it up, you just lost a buyer for your big, expensive home. This one is for all of those sellers out there who think buyers can look beyond their messes.
7. Jeffifer Fivelsdal: Could the Clinton Vineyard Supply the wine for Chelsea Clinton's Wedding? If this one is televised, I'm watching it, and I'll have a bottle from the Clinton Vineyard by the TV set.
8. Norma Toering: Where Did Your Last 10 Leads Come From? It's always amazed me that there are a lot of agents are not able to answer this one. It's important.
9. Bill Travis: Are You a Pushy Agent | I Would Fire You There are many of us who have a hard time with the pushy salesperson paradigm, this ones for you.
10. Sharon Senger: Hiring an Assistant is like trying to find “Mr. Right” Well, Sharon, I was really hoping that finding Mr. Right would be a lot easier than this!
11. Sally Dunbar: Watch out that YOU don't get accused of stealing! This one was more than a wee bit scary. Read it and resolve to have you sellers be more careful.
12. Gary Woltal: Mistakes Can Be OK But Lessons Need To Be Learned Gary's graphic triggered a little case of PTSD - that nun looks just like Sister Mary Kathleen. She was pretty aweful.
13. Jeff Belonger: No, it's not a T-Rex, aka Tyrannosaurus Rex killing your mortgage loan. It's your 4506-T. If you have clients with sideline incomes, this is a must-read.
14. Rene Fabre: Oh Oh... "It's 4 O'Clock!" This one struck a chord because DC has just hiked the parking meter rates to the ionosphere.
And 15. Charles Buell: Rulerdog was such a wimp! I am still hyperventilating from the claustrophobia I got reading this one. Charles, I think you need to raise your rates!
