Kingsgate I&II - A Private Park in Kirkland Washington
A delightful and active park in the Kingsgate neighborhood of Kirkland is actually private. Neighbors can belong. Friends can come (with restrictions) if they are accompanied by a member.
I have never lived in Kingsgate, but I have sold many houses there over the years, and I know that one of the enduring attractions of this neighborhood is the Private Park.
What family with school aged children would not love to have a large park, completely surrounded by houses, with limited access, and an actively supervised swimming pool, close by?

In the park there is terrific climbing play set for somewhat older children. At the back of the park is a large baseball field. In the middle are two tennis courts, enclosed by high chain link fences.
There is a picnic area/ gathering place for families, friends of neighbors.
And in the middle of it all is the swimming pool. Fenced in. Supervised. I have heard the happy shrieks for years as I have driven by.
If you live just a little too far away to walk, there is good parking of two sides of the park. It is pedestrian friendly. But car friendly as well.
