I have had a few lumps all right but I am not so happy about some of them.

We do learn from our mistakes and like you said I'm proud of my lumps as I did pay dearly for them. Your photo is so fabulous..love all the shots you take..what a library!!

The school of hard knocks is a great school. It teaches us to correct our methods, and to work to prevent more knocks.

SO, should I say here that I am proud of all my wrinkles and imperfections?  Hard to do, hard to do..but I agree with your sentiment!  LOL

I am happy to read that you have lumps like I do Michael.  I, too, paid dearly for them.  A good lesson in life is to learn from our mistakes and those painful lumps will be our gain if only we don't repeat them.

I think the present market has made most of us a bit bumpy. Great photo as always!

Michael, I like this new profile picture!  When I worked in the anti-battered women's movement, our motto was "What does not kill us, definitely make us stronger."  It seems the lessons I learn from mistakes are the ones that really stick with me and help me be better, so as painful as they are -- bring them on.  We'll really be strong when this market improves.

Its best if we learn the lesson the first time. The second go around is bound to be worse! I'll take this as a reminder to be still and listen to what I am being taught! :O}

It is wise of us to learn from our lumps. Too bad that some have to be so painful!

If we're lucky we learn from our knocks... :)  I know a few who haven't, but then perhaps they like taking hits to the head.  I'm digging the new profile picture!

Paul..No one is perfect ..If they are they paid a plastic surgeon  and lot of money to make it so ...Now that photo is pretty close to perfect ...:0)

Ha Ha yes, the sting of it is there to make you never forget. The soft easy stuff we forget because we are in the reward phase, something tells me this week has some lumps in store for me!
