Our country is beautiful and arguably, there are parts that are more beautiful than others, but yet each has their own special features. We are on vacation and currently in Mammoth and while I am still conducting business, I am definitely taking time out to enjoy being with my family and seeing sights like the one below... Beautiful shot! The West has so much to offer in natural beauty! One of these days, need to take some time just touring and enjoying!

Thank you for the comments! Mammoth is a ski destination in the winter for most of Southern California, but the summer time is my favorite time to visit all the lakes and sights without too many people. This was just a perfect morning shot yesteday before the kayakers and paddleboarders headed out! ~ Susan

Any time you can get away with family it's time for a picture.

Susan - Last time I was in Mammoth it was at Mammoth Mountain and I broke the tail of my snow board (when they were first designed they had a split tail). That should tell you how long it has been! I have never forgotten how beautiful and majestic the Mammoth area is with all of its lakes and mountains. Alpine beauty at its best! You work hard so enjoy a well deserved vacation : )

Thanks Nevin, it has been great so far and now we are heading up to June Lake and Mono Lake.... two great places to take photos! I don't ski, but looking up at Mammoth Mountain ski trails yesterday and I have to admire anyone who does! ~ Susan
