WELCOME TO STONEYBROOK FARM MARKET

Last summer, I posted photos of one of my favorite farmers market in Loudoun County Stoneybrook Farm Market. Why one of my favorites? Because of the wonderful breads that they sold in addition to the usual fresh local fruits and vegetables grown on the farm directly behind the "market".

This market also offered PUMPKIN BUTTER. I discovered Pumpkin Butter at this farmers market and it's one of my favorites snacks on their wonderful whole wheat bread.

THE NEW FARMERS MARKET. Last fall, Stoneybrook Farm Market closed down and started building a new building. I watched the construction progress. Hillsboro is just 10 minutes from my home and right on the way to my gunsmith.

Hi Lenn, Now that is one classy Farmers 's Market. Is that you in the upper photo in a pants suit? Me thinks it might be.

Well, I have to join along in the chorus. I can't wait until you take some interior pictures of the new diggs. Including the vegiies and flowers would be a real bonus.

Wanda. Indeed it is. I rarely buy bread at the grocery store. I either make it myself or get it at farmers markets. Wait, Wegmans has some good stuff too.

Leslie. It's owned by the farmer. They have a truck farm right on that corner. It's about 10 acres and all planted with vegetables except for the corner where they built the market. They also have fruit, corn, etc. acreage in other areas around.
