postlets Vs. vFlyers

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Southern Shores

I have been reading the debates over postlets and vFlyers recently.  It seems that they both are pretty good services, it's just a matter of personal opinion.  Why do we have to choose?  Is there something that I am missing?  Since they both offer free services, why can't we use both?  I know that they both submit to some of the same search engines, but can't we still use them both?

I use the services mainly for my sellers.  The real estate market here in Myrtle Beach is very, very competitive and flooded. It seems to me that the more exposure we can get for our clients, the better.  Right?  I try to get my listings on as many websites as possible for my clients.  With that being said, it seems to me that if there are services available for free we should be using them.  Are most people trying to decide between the services doing so because of the time and maintenance involved?  Or is it not in our best interest to use all of the free services available to us?

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on this subject?

You can use both, as some people prefer one over the other. But, I love vflyer for the syndication and widgets !!!

This reminds me that I haven't added either yet, and have had the same questions. Thanks for posting this, and am sure the comment trail will be helpful.

Like Richard I haven't used either one. Maybe it's time to try them.

I have tried the vFlyers and really like the way they look.  If the postlets look good I see no reason why not to use both of them.  It might give some visual interest to your blog if they have have different templates.

Misty- Thanks for the info.

Patrick- Thanks for the comment.  I really like the way that vFlyers look as well.  The postlets are nice also.  I figure since they both are free and functional, we may as well use them.
