National Night Out in Wake Forest NC - August 3, 2010

Join your neighbors tomorrow night, August 3, at Target in Wake Forest NC for the 27th AnnualNational Night Out Wake Forest NC National Night Out!  National Night Out is designed to promote safe, healthy neighborhoods, increase crime and drug prevention, foster police-community relationships and to generate support for local anti-crime programs.

The annual National Night Out Parking Lot Party is being hosted by the Wake Forest NC Police Department and Target which is the national sponsor for National Night Out.  There will DEFINITELY be something for everyone:

  • Food and prizes
  • performing choirs
  • Army National Guard helicopter
  • WFPD and the US Secret Service will provide child identification fingerprint kits via Operation Safe Kids
  • Child Safety Seat technicians
  • WFPD K-9 demonstration
  • D.A.R.E. presentation

The party starts at 5pm and lasts until 9pm!  Be sure to come by the Super Target located at 12000 Retail Drive!

WHAT? You get a helicopter???? That's just not fair!!!

National Night Out here is done on a very, very local level. In fact, it's held in the historic part of Midtown Atlanta and quite often we don't get many of the people from the high rises to even attend.

Yours sounds great! I forgot to get a blog out about this...it snuck up on me, and besides, I've got a meeting this evening anyway!

I would agree Barbara Jo!  There is ALWAYS a hige reception to National Night Out here.
