There are so many great businesses in the Ham Lake area but I wantMilkman in Ham Lake MN to share a few of my favorites again:

1. Countryside Milk Delivery...Yes there is a milkman in Ham Lake MN! Besides milk, there are hundreds of choices of other products like bread, eggs and popcicles! And it is wonderful to have ice cream treats delivered FROZEN in 90+ degree weather in the summer...avoiding the melty mess in my car from the store!

2. The Parlour Salon...Privately owned and expertly run, The Parlour Salon in Andover is a great place to go to be styled and pampered!

3 East Bethel Movie Theater...Stadium seating, Dolby 3-d glasses that don't give me a headache and affordable concessions. What more could you ask for?

4. Mansetti's...Whether you visit the restaurant on Hwy 65 and Constance in Ham Lake or on Broadway in Forest Lake, you will love the GREAT Pizza and don't forget to sign up for their email coupons for extra special deals!

Whoa!  I didn't know that any milk delivery survived to the present day.  I remember as a kid that the milkman would carry the milk bottles up to the second story entrance to our home and leave them outside the door.  In the winter time, if Mom didn't get them right away, they would begin to freeze, expand, and pop the paper lid up, leaving it sitting on a 1" tower of frozen cream.  Milk wasn't pastuerized 50 years ago.

Actually, we have a company that delivers baked goods to our area.  I don't use them but I see them drive by once a week.

Mike--I remember the milkman deliveries when I was a kid too...It is great that they do this in Ham Lake. Gary has been delivering Kemps products to us for about 10 years now...almost since we moved in. We leave a cooler out if we cant be home but haven't frozen anything in the winter...yet!

Hi Teri,
The milk man is fantastic!  When I was a little girl in Sebeka MN the Schwann man used to bring ice cream.  I forgot about this wonderful memory until I read your post today.

Ham Lake sounds like a lovely place to live!  Wish I could pop in to each of these businesses!

Maya--Where is Sebeka? I will have to google map it...must be a small town. Schwan's still delivers but we prefer Gary's service and products...smaller sizes so we don't overbuy on those ice cream treats! :)
