AVT, Inc. (formerly Automated Vending Technologies), has been in the news lately for a wide array of reasons, from new exciting products, to a very public lawsuit.

AVT, www.avtinconline.com, has designed an automated retail machine built specifically to dispense high-end products for quality, upscale retailers. Standard Hotels, where many rich and famous people stay to play, has placed AVT, Inc. vending machines poolside, dispensing fashions and accessories from Quiksilver, including Quiksilver board shorts, bikinis, sunscreen and sunglasses, all via a high-tech touch screen display and self-service credit card reader to complete the sale.

But their product isn't just another vending machine with a gimmick. The new Corona, CA produced machine's system is ran by a computer program that processes customer's credit cards instantly, and updated the machine's sales and inventory up-to-the-minute, making it extremely attractive to low-overhead conscious entrepreneurs.

Also in production at AVT are machines that dispense everything from custom t-shirts and cell phones, to cosmetics and even jewelry.
