Through my day to day real estate activities, I typically run into this question over and over.  What I have found is that many people really don't understand, exactly, what a short sale is, or they ask, what are the benefits of a short sale on my home?  Of course, when most of us don't understand something, we go to a source that should be able to help.  In walks your "next door Realtor". 

Unfortunately, reliable information on the subject of a short sale in the Raleigh NC market is few and far between.  My team and I have had a lot of bad information relayed to us, that supposed short sale experts in Raleigh have given to the consumer.  Short sales in Raleigh take a lot of training, time and expertise that your average real estate agent just hasn't had.  If you need information on short selling your home in the Raleigh area, go to a real estate source that has experience and true knowledge on the subject.
